Welcome!

This course will teach you how to create line graphs using Execl 2010.

Line graphs are used to display one or more sets of data and how the data changes against another variable. The most common comparison variable is time. When a graph has been produced, it allows different people to examine the trend of the data and make meaning that suits their needs.

Examples of line graphs include how the population of a city changes over time. Another is the stock market index that changes over time.

Since line graphs are found in many different types of work, we should know how to produce them. Thankfully, there are many computer programs that can assist us in preparing professional looking graphs very easily. That is what this short teaching session is all about - how to use a very common program, Microsoft Excel 2010, to create line graphs.
